I've recently come across two fun design tools that you can use to create mood boards for your redecorating projects at home and put together fabulous outfit ideas. The first is http://www.mydeco.com/ and it is full of furniture, fabric, home accessories, bedding, and more to create just the "look" you're aiming for in your room. I created the board below based on the direction I am trying to go with the master bedroom - dark furniture, aqua blues, birds, curvy lamps and candlesticks and lattice.
If fashion is more to your liking, check out http://www.polyvore.com/ where you can put together a fabulous 30s glam look like I have below or the perfect outfit for a big interview or dinner date. Of course all the products on both sites have links to the retailers offering them, but it also works for picking out pieces similar to what you already have and coming up with new ways to mix and match. In addition to clothing, polyvore also has furniture, accessories, jewelry and vintage pieces.
So go ahead and get creative and see what looks you can come up with. P.S. If anyone wants to gift me the purse or the ring I can tell you where to get them. The ring is only slightly more expensive ;-)
